The Endourological Society is a non-profit organization founded in 1983 by a group of international urologists specializing in stones disease to facilitate dialog, circulation of scientific literature, and surgical skill training courses/hands on laboratory sessions. Drs. Ben Chew and Dirk Lange were invited as key note speakers and educational courses at the annual meeting, World Congress of Endourology (WCE). Based on their past and current work, Drs. Chew and Lange are viewed as world experts particularly in the field of Ureteral Stent Biomaterial Design. For their work Drs. Chew and Lange with their team have been awarded many prestigious awards that recognize their quality and innovative work, including the following:
